Closing Date: September 1,2011:
The Autumn heat of the WWT Photography Competition 2011-2012 will be launched here on 1st September.The competition celebrates the centenary of the Scott Antartic Expedition, and to mark that this year's grand first prize is a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Antartica, courtesy of Exodus in partnership with Quark Expeditions.
A full list of exciting category prizes will be announced soon.
New categories for 2011-2012:
World Wetlands - submit your wetland pictures taken anywhere in the world. Under 16s category has been extended to Under 18s: Junior Photographer of the Year.
NB. Under 18s are NOT eligible to win any of the main categories, all entries by Under 18s to ANY category will automatically be transferred to the Junior Photographer of the Year category.
Returning Categories:
Wetland Wildlife, Wetland Landscapes and Wildlife & People.
All photographs must have been taken at one of the WWT's nine wetland centres across the UK.
