Oxfam UK through the humanitarian evidence programme accepts proposals from researchers based around the world to conduct evidence syntheses on the topics of market support interventions and pastoralist livelihoods in humanitarian crises. The Programme encourages proposals from research teams in low- or middle-income countries, and proposals including such researchers in the team.

Humanitarian actors and researchers have amassed evidence about the state of knowledge in the humanitarian sector, including assessments of what works and what does not work. Synthesizing this information and making it readily available to policymakers and humanitarian practitioners remains challenging.
